Esko XPS Crystal Certification

FPD achieved Esko XPS Crystal certification in July 2023. Esko’s program assesses plate imaging and processing against established reference benchmarks, including plate relief accuracy and production consistency.

The XPS Crystal system uses controlled LED main and back exposure to support repeatable plate production. Benchmark-based checks also help identify changes in plate quality before they become pressroom problems.

Why it matters to converters: More confidence in plate-to-plate consistency, predictable print preparation, and reduced process variation.
